Overall great but challenging and demanding at times

Pros

Great opportunity to learn from strong sales people and earn good bonus. Both of my pod leaders have been great mentors and I’ve learnt more about sales in 1 year than the 4 years I spent in my last sales role.

Cons

I’ve seen "Boiler Room" written in some reviews. The environment is very challenging and demanding and people are expected to work hard. I previously worked in a “Boiler Room” environment and this is far from it, but there are occasions where people feel under pressure to perform which can be hard if you’re not resilient.

Pros

I worked at GDS for two years and have nothing but amazing things to say about GDS. The knowledge I gained while at GDS will benefit me moving forward, whether I stay in sales or not. Yes, it is a sales environment and does push you, but every job should push you to be the best person you can be!

Cons

At the end of the day you are exhausted, but its a good exhausted since you always feel like you put as much into the position as possible. Other than that, everything else was very positive.
