Pros

- Central location - Opportunity to travel - Refurbished office

Cons

- Withdrew commission - Constant large scale changes being made, little guidance, follow through or prior consideration - Staff treated as disposable - Regular restructures, constant changes to office layout - Poor communication between teams - Questionable approach to GDPR - Sexist comments and inappropriate behaviour from senior members of staff - Weak middle management - The company is basically run by the sales team - The focus is on generating sales as opposed to delivering a quality product - Weak HR - No introduction made to HR, processes not conducted as they should be, no reviews carried out, "restructures" taking place that do not follow the correct procedures and leave staff vulnerable - Rigid time frames, a little bit like being at school e.g. forced break times

Pros

You can get hired with little to no experience

Cons

One of the worst work environments I’ve been a part of: the gossip is endless, the managers are rude and cutthroat, and the turnover rate is insanely high. They hire a training cohort of 10 people every 3 months: out of 10, only 2 will be left after the 3-month period. Some people quit within the first week of working here! Mostly due to outdated practices—only a handful of managers actually close deals and do so by tapping the same client-well for repeat business—meanwhile the new guys are brought in to merely setup phone calls for the top-sellers. If that doesn’t bother you, the work culture will get under your skin very quickly. The gossip is endless and if you discuss anything with your colleagues, chances are it will be repeated, so be careful in what you say, how you say it, and who you say it to! This work culture is very cliquey and if you don’t find a group to associate with, it will be challenging to do your job or receive help moving forward: GDS GROUP HIGH! In closing, if you need a job or experience, they’ll give you a shot, along with great benefits (2 weeks off in December for Christmas), but it will be an awful experience and you’ll be looking for a new job sooner than later.
