Pros

Having worked with GDS for over a decade, I have seen the company go through a lot of changes. What has not changed is my enjoyment of the place and the people I work with. I have received so many opportunites at GDS, and have been lucky to experience a few roles that have developed my skills and understanding of the industry - starting in sales and moving to product, managing teams and new initiatives. I have travelled the world, worked in both US offices and our earlier Sydney office, and met some great people and clients. I paid off my student loan, got married, had three children, and GDS have supported me on every occasion, and welcomed me back to work so I may continue my career with ease, and for that I am very appreciative. It is an energetic, hardworking workplace, I smile and laugh everyday, which is hard to say about work, but it is true!

Cons

It takes a week to fix the water machine!

Pros

Coworkers were the only good part of the company - I made lasting friends.

Cons

Pay, Owner, workload, horrible management team made working here literal hell. The clients are off the rails, some justifiable because the business takes on more clients & events that it can manage and deliver. The sales team is almost too good for the company - the operations team can't keep up. This company is also only focused on sales. The operations and client success teams get little to no recognition, value, or benefits at all.
