Pros

The best reason to work with g4s is to show hard work and faithfulness with the company and for its grow into business with the highest achievements for more employments in India.

Cons

The Downside of working at g4s india is so much of politics, leg pulling , groupism, wrong message passing to Sr. Management and wrong action taken for honest people who working for so many years with this company.

Pros

-- Uniform service -- Local posts -- No micromanagement -- Decent pay and medical/dental but no 401K match I've only worked at a couple posts; first post was a graveyard patrol. Client really didn't care that you were there and appeared annoyed when you'd call in issues that were out of the ordinary. Post commander said I'd get fitted for another uniform set, but never got them (only had the three uniforms the district office provided). Also mentioned to the PC about additional training, certifications and advancement; only thing he told me was to "be patient". Second post is much better; PC told me who to see/talk to at the district office and managed to take online training, a certification test and how to get advanced training. Also nice that I'm working days.

Cons

You have to bug them to find out about additional posts. Shift and Post commanders seem to be fine, but district/management level people don't really care about your professional development. Clients either think your a nusiance or treat you like you're "the help". Also had $300 in payroll deductions for medical that shouldn't have occured; new post had free medical but the account manager never sent me the change of post form (funny how the form says it's your responsibility, but if you never saw the form or were informed about the policy, how can you be responsible for it?) Office people were at least sensitive to my situation but the account manager said, "I'm not going to apologize for it...I deal with over 600 officers." In another conversation I had with him regarding professional development, he told me "90% of our posts are $10/hour." This proves that you are truly a number, a body on a post and replaceable at will.

Pros

Interesting duty assignments, decent pay, average benefits, good work hours that allow plenty of leisure time, excellent opportunities to swap shifts or take on extra shifts online,

Cons

Poor staff policies, poor management, no appreciation for experience, lack of advancement opportunities without personal contacts or ass kissing, lack of training or self-defence practice when working dangerous assignments, lack of debriefing after traumatic experiences.
