G4S is still the bad Wackenhut

Pay is higher than others.

Cons

Company is more worried about their "look" than the safety of its employees. Provide sub-standard equipment and do not allow employee to purchase proper equipment. This company is way behind in the industry standards of providing safety and security to its clients and employees. That shows in using revolvers (that are not manufactured anymore) to using target ammo for its duty ammo. Flex officers work many hours and constant schedule changes. Post officers do well with schedules.

Able to work hours that fit my schedule. allows time off. Good for high school or college job. Dont need that much qualifications

Cons

Hard to get a raise. Upper managment is very rude and act like there doing you favors when you need something. Communication skills are very bad

Consistent work, set post, and guaranteed hours. If you are in school it is a great company for part time work.

Cons

No room for advancement. Since the company changed from Wachenhut the pay and benifits have become below average. The company just lost a lot of their contracts in the Orlando area.
