You can work basically anywhere, London or outside London and the team of people you work with becomes like a family; you look out for each other during your shifts and covering each other during breaks. The teamwork is what I love when working in this job. Also there are some surprises - such as seeing certain VIPs outside work.

Cons

Organisation could do with some improvement - particularly on the phone. When I had an enquiry to make about shifts in the Olympics, I was resigned to waiting half an hour on hold each time before someone was able to speak to me on the other end.
