Nice office, good canteen and mostly alright colleagues. The annual leave is good and there are quite a few good benefits, although it's more useful if you are a parent.

Cons

I joined G4S at a really bad time when they were getting hammered by the press. This meant that morale was low in some areas and turnover was high. The worst thing though was the silo mentality. There were so many processes to go through to get anything done. The lead to conflicting objectives and occasional chaos.

Good exposure in the first year and developed the ability to handle large amounts of data. Got the opportunity to correspond with the higher levels of management.

Cons

Lack of training, unstructured and hostile working environment, long working hours with no extra benefits or compensation, no idea who I am reporting to, poor pay scale and no benefits. No performance reviews.
