Pros

This was a great opportunity to live overseas. The program helps set you up in a Turkish city, and arranges your visa, permits and an orientation program.

Cons

During the bombings in Ankara (where I lived), it would have been nice to receive more notice from the program. They were basically silent.

Pros

You have an amazing opportunity to travel and once your contract is over, there are many opportunities for you to grow professionally. The alumni association that is associated with Fulbright is very helpful.

Cons

My only con is that it is a 10 month contract that cannot be extended.
