Great experience with Serbia team

Lots of independence, fulfilling work, great work experience and CV builder, professional staff

Cons

The ETA really depends on your host country and the US embassy. I had a great experience with the team in Serbia, but I've heard horror stories from Fulbright colleagues in other nearby countries.

Pros

-Freedom to customize your experience. You're expected to generally follow the project you proposed, but in most cases you don't have a boss you're reporting to. - Opens door professionally (So I've heard.) -The experience is sure to stretch you in positive ways. - Comfortable stipend, though you won't get rich.

Cons

- Health coverage doesn't count for ACA minimum - you still need to be on US health insurance to avoid the penalty. - Could be very challenging if you're not self-motivated and don't thrive with little structure.
