Pros

Lots of independence, fulfilling work, great work experience and CV builder, professional staff

Cons

The ETA really depends on your host country and the US embassy. I had a great experience with the team in Serbia, but I've heard horror stories from Fulbright colleagues in other nearby countries.

Pros

Incredible opportunity to learn about a different country, culture, and society while representing the US

Cons

Hard to get IIE's attention for logistical issues, best when your program has an in-country commission that deals with local logistics
