Cons

Sometimes the local schools treat the Fulbright teachers more like showpieces than professional colleagues.

once in a lifetime experience, the stipend is more than enough to live comfortably, multicultural environment, prestige, chance to work in unique environment abroad, make lasting friends and travel to new unusual places,

Cons

not enough of a support system within and outside of the country (without a commission) especially from the embassy, very hands-off management, teaching in the middle of nowhere without support from the host institution, expected to run classrooms without enough training or orientation
