Pros

1. If you take an initiative, there are few people who are going to hold you back. 2. Great place to launch a career - you learn things on the job and the research process is in place so that you understand the nuances that go into evaluating dynamic markets 3. Great bunch of co-workers 4. Opportunities to interact with clients/industry leaders early on in the career

Cons

1. Uncertainties about management and their vision for the future 2. Very mediocre upper management - they have been great in building the company to a scale but seem to lack the ability to communicate or come up with new ideas. 3. The high levels of dissatisfaction among other employees leading to many co-workers constantly looking for other jobs. 4. The pay

Pros

- Brand Name (I dont how its built up) but still brand name, brand name & brand name, which is used by every single employee as a jumping pad in their career (just for 1 (smart & wise) or 2 (patient & sincere) or 3 years (god of tolerance) at max.). -Exposure to market & industry related. -Senior management easily approachable -Non-field job (mostly) -Communication skills through primary market research -Hands-on experience of googling -nice peer support -active communication among team

Cons

(unlike pros) there are tons of them: -non-supportive,fussy & skilless HR dept. -stringent & anti-employees company policies. -suffering of an employee on the name of cost-cutting. -very few over-all development options & extra-currics or periodic events are close to nil for employees -lack in infrastructure & facilities provision -operational issues & strict rules in existence -work-overload -hopeless administration strategies -lack in growth oppotunities -less talented crowd -non-healthy office environment -employee's freedom is neglected -very less package (not in proportion to work made to do) -alternate working saturdays (not expected being a consulting firm) & many more...

Pros

Profile quite similar to employee profile , good placement chances , Responsibilities are given to interns, get to work on consults and reports , can talk to important people in business , learn a lot about the business unit you work for.

Cons

Bad Pay - but that should be of no concern to an intern long working hours , constant surveillance by superiors - even for 5 minutes !, alternate saturdays working , bad office ergonomics , boring jobs like transcribing calls , formatting presentations , shoddy analysis , no canteen, no recreational facilites , you realise that analysis is just a lot of guess work with words like 'logic' and ' tweaking' used to justify vague guesses. As an intern you have to call important people and schedule interviews , thereby bugging them , you feel ur intellectual abilities are wasting away sitting at your desk all day and doing work you don't give a damn about just so that you can complete your degree requirements Rigid structure of the company , difficult to change to a team you like.
