Pros

Excellent working environment and overall learning experience. Incredible to be a part of such an impressive team. Very stimulating 2 and a half years of my life.

Cons

The hours are often awful. All-nighters are to be expected. There is also quite an unbalance between working in main offices, such as NY or London and working in smaller offices such as Rome which should not exist since the clients and cases are often the same.

Pros

Global centre is a terrific place to work. Plenty of opportunities for collaboration and some really innovative ideas are pushed forward. The office is comfortable with a great atmosphere and social scene.

Cons

The problem for me was the department being run from London. You'd get feedback from people that never worked with you and that affected your salary/bonus and more importantly your opportunities for any progression.

Pros

One of the magic circle firms with a solid reputation and a large client base. Competition can be rough between fee earners

Cons

Regular insane hours - a usual international firm
