Pros
Freelancer is one of the very few companies in Australia that do proper data science. The company is extremely data driven and understands the value of it. While working here I had the chance to work on multiple large machine learning projects, I believe rarely you can do the same in other companies. The people are smart and motivated to solve hard problems.
Cons
You should be ready for blunt feedback on what you do - which could take a bit of getting used to. Overall the feedback is often very useful.
