If you want to make a carrer in internal auditing, it's a great place of work with loads of exposure; Always new things to learn and work upon; Variety of clients and industry assignment; Great work environment.

Cons

No work life balance; Internal politics.

Pros

Reasonably relaxed with regards to working hours. Staff do not have to work long hours. This is mainly due to the limited complexity of the work within internal audit (public sector).

Cons

The salary is poor in comparison to competitors. Management have their favourites and turnover of staff is extremely high.
