Cons

Big company has some disadvantages over working for smaller companies. For a huge company in many ways it still acts like a small company.

Fluor is a large, competent engineering firm. It is a good place to learn how a large project can be organized from one of the best in the industry at executing large projects.

Cons

Like any other company, it depends on who you know to move around in the company and get promoted. The company appears to make strides in fairness, equality and hiring minorities. It still is largely WASP male oriented company, Perhaps that is the nature of the Engineering & Construction business.
