Pros
This is a good place to learn about industrial equipment, pumps, valves, seals, and instrumentation. You get exposed to so much valuable information, and you are for the most part free to learn at your pace. Good pay, benefits, 401K, and pension plans.
Cons
Management is horrible, they need to do an overhaul of most of the management staff. No communication whatsoever, too many people that don't know what they are doing. They need to do a better job of investing into their employees and better training. The products are highly attached to the oil and gas industry, so business is not very good right now. They are outsourcing a lot of products and a lot of engineering and manufacturing is now being done in cheaper labor countries. There have been a large number of layoffs in the past year and high turnover. Very negative culture.
