Above average salaries, overall good products and technologies, has policies to treat employees fairly, good expansion strategies.

Cons

Too much politics, at all levels, incredible amounts of time and effort are wasted in internal fighting. Organization is nearly incomprehensible: multiple layers and minute separations of the process and market that multiply exponentially the number of managers and reporting lines. Customer is rarely first. Depending on your manager, worklife becomes hard fast for the low level employee. There is a lot of low level training available, but not about the "good" stuff, and never within a training plan, it's more like "get what you can".

Flowserve Lynchburg - Very Negative

The corporation has good policies. There are a lot of good people at the Lynchburg site.

Cons

Corporate policies are not practiced at the plant level. The work environmenta is very negative. Intimidation and retaliation are used as management tools.
