      Good place to work and grow

      Pros

      As a big company it has several areas to work and grow, from eingineering to management. HR and upper managemet woorking for it to be a good place to work. Coffe areas, even a little super market inside.

      Cons

      HR is not that flexible and have to check in check out even in Management positions, a lot of Micromanagemet. Some times overtime is not valued as something extra, more of a must do.

      Pros

      Flextronics is an ideal place for someone who just wants to put in their ~40hrs and go home. There are ample opportunities to move around within the company, especially for engineers. If you desire it, you can even see a pretty good chunk of the globe travelling to different sites while you work.

      Cons

      They do very little here to promote any type of career progression. Despite an extensive corporate training website (consisting of everypone's favorite -- powerpoints!), there is very little offered in the way of actual training -- whatever skills you have will stagnate unless you take it upon yourself to keep them sharp. Negotiate the best beginning salary you can get -- it won't change much over the years. And don't expect to get a raise just because you took on the responsibilities of two or three people (and continue to excel) -- according to management, that's just expected.

      Pros

      Very nice people; got along well with everyone. Everyone was very helpful; lots of team bonding/group activities. Not a competitive place to work; no strict management.

      Cons

      The company has very bad management because tasks were not appropriately delegated. Some had to more than others and some did not do their job at all.
