Pros

Company is well positioned for growth and has a solid business model to support this growth. The addition of CheckFree added substantial bench strength at the corporate level, providing additional technology and marketing resources.

Cons

Long hours and high expectations prevail. Not all behaviors desired by Sr. Mgmt have been embraced at the business unit level. Dual standards often apply.

Pros

Bottom line - having a job in this economy is great. Projects are interesting and fun to work on.If you like what you are doing, good for you.

Cons

1. No advancement opportunities. 2. No training opportunities. 3. Benefits suck - only 15 days vacation in the 1st 10 years, health insurance is bad. 4. Salaries are really low compared to similar positions in other companies. Complain about that and they will change your title position to justify the low salary. Or even worse, they will outsource you. 5. No respects for their employee. They expect you to do a very good job but instead they don't promote, motivate you. The morale is down to the ground. 6. Too many ad-hoc rules to follow, the whole process in company is extremely bureaucratic - you can kiss goodbye the productivity and creativity.

Pros

Employees are the best in the business and very knowledgeable. The products are superior to any other in the market place.

Cons

Management needs to adopt a faster and cleaner way to deliver product to the end users. Sr. management should understand that processes and procedures are great for determining a base line but that there is more to a quality product than just that. They have lost contact with the real assets of the company and that is the staff. Fiserv's benefit program is now one of the worst in the industry.
