Pros

Great work life balace. Strategy focused on meeting commitments to customers. Fiserv is an innovative technology leader in the banking industry. Tremendous potential to write your own ticket at Fiserv. They are focused on having the right people in the right positions. Other companies I've worked for keep people in positions simply because they have been there for a long time. Not Fiserv. They will make changes to benifit the employees and the customers long term. Change is hard for some people so this is not always a positive but for me

Cons

Health care benifits could be improved.

Pros

I work at one of the locations in Norcross, Georgia, and have been here about a year. The people I work are great, and I guess that's because they are in the same situation as yourself, I guess there is a understanding of what everyone has to work with here on daily basis.

Cons

I read the reviews before I was hired, and could not believe the negative feedback, if you are considering coming to work here please, please consider these before making any decision. I left a 8 to 5 job, with a office to come to work for what I thought was a good company, I was fooled. This has to be one one of the worst places I have worked. Everything is by the numbers, the benefits absolutely are worthless, you are given 18 pto days first year, but that is sick days too, and holidays, if you don't work certain holidays, they are deducted from that 18 days, so those days go fast. The medical insurance is just as bad, they are high deductible hsa, or ppo policy's, were in a year you may not meet your deductible. To be such a big company they really dont offer employees very much. If you check usually there are 100 more openings here just in the Norcross area locations, what does that tell you about turn over rate ?After the first of the year we are going to push for representation much like AT&T workers have in their offices, if your interested in pushing for a better workplace here contact me.

Pros

Wage compensation is competitive Strong stock performance

Cons

Benefits are subpar in comparison to other Fortune companies. The are not making an effort to improve employee satisfaction with the organization. A lot of disorganization among the business units within the organization. There isn't a singular delivery mechanism for technologies and there isn't a focus on quality, just releases and release dates. If you are in Information Technology or Project Management,, expect to work long hours, nights, and weekends. The "occasional nights and weekends" verbiage is a gross deception of what actually happens here. This is not a family culture. It's very segregated. Its "clicky / boys club" and there isn't a commonality of respect among the employees or business units. This transcends from the top down. Moving up in the organization takes many years of service being at Fiserv, despite your qualifications. The position you are hired in typically will be one you will be stuck with.
