Depending on the department/group you work in, it can be a very stimulating and creative environment. Most of my colleagues are just a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Salary can be below average. Zero personal recognition (unless it makes your boss shine!). Higher management decisions tend to be too short-term oriented and middle management care more for their bonuses than the greater good of the company.
