Great Culture with Innovation and Diversity all around. You'll work on technology in an industry that has a lot of opportunity to develop really innovative solutions. The benefits package is exceptional and can't be found in the private sector.

Cons

Lots of work and longer hours. Similar to most startups I think but then there is less concern for funding given the backing by the larger Finning Parent Organization. AKA Job Stability

The company hires and fires people often. Some people are on their third or fourth stint with the company.

Pros

Great opportunities to progress with a career, lots of potential to even change careers without changing companies. Good salary and benefits.

Cons

Horrible culture of hire/fire (referred to as layoffs and budget cuts). Plenty of claims that they are changing, but in my five years with them, the often let positive change initiatives fall by the wayside. Managers protect other managers and employees are left on their own to try and survive. A lot of top down direction with little to no input from actual employees on the front lines (or in the office)
