Pros

Finning has recently made a number of positive changes to drive attraction and retention of employees, including commitments to building a more inclusive and diverse workplace, offering respect training, providing options for remote work to allow for greater flexibility and work life balance and is developing customer focused strategies that are grounded in technology and innovation using data. The quality of people who work at Finning are its greatest asset and the main reason why I go to work every day.

Cons

As with any other commodity driven company, we are subject to economic forces beyond our control, which means we need to operate a lean and agile organization. This sometimes means workforce downsizing or impacts to match market needs. Another challenge facing the company is aging workforce and being able to attract the next generation at Finning, as our reputation of being a more innovative company is not yet out in the public realm.
