Pros

Some of the smartest people I've met work at Faurecia they just do not get the recognition they deserve. But for many years it was a Company that was extremely committed to diversity. Only reason I stay employed at Faurecia is the job market, When something else comes along even with lower pay it will be more than worth while to take it. There are a lot of very good people that you will work with, Most everyone you will meet at Faurecia has the same issues. If you can get past the issues then it just might be for you.

Cons

Anything you have disliked about any place you have ever worked is all bottled up in one place. If you want any kind of respect then you need to give it in return. If you want higher ups to disrespect you in a large group meeting like screaming, name calling and everything under the sun, even when it has nothing to do with the job at hand, then this is the company for you. Meetings within groups of Senior Management will only talk about other employee's private and personal issues ( even when its only discussed with Human Resource everybody knows what was talked about ) Nothing is private. Then it will continue onto whom is having affairs with whom in the company, who dresses like trash and who looks good in what ( oh and what nice uppers so and so has. And yes these are even mixed meetings. ( male & female) Never will be discussed issues about the company( which is what the meeting is for ) With many of the "protected" individuals remaining and very talented people being cut.but how will it affect the quality of the product being developed and delivered? All because of personal relationships, not job performance. I believe there will not be enough people remaining to do an effective job and the environment that left will be key to any future success The way employees are treated by higher Management unbelievable. Verbal berating's if counts are made in front of employees, customers. including objects thrown about, and threats are common. stating anyone who love to have your job if your not happy, there is the door if you do not like what I have to say ect. If you have a idea, speak your views or complain about anything you will be likely put in a performance improvement program that represents the last step before being walked out the door. The current management strategy seems to be to pit each function or so called team against the other for the power trip. No respect for your opinions or your time Friends or the employees that do not mind being their doormat get ahead faster than anyone who actually works for a living. Pay is not based on performance, except in rare instances.

Pros

This used to be a great place to work but management changes have resulted in a culture of reactivity and blaming

Cons

horrible culture. It didn’t used to be this way at CMX (formerly CTC) but the Faureica culture has totally taken over and as a result the companies performance has suffered and employee morale is horrible as well

Pros

No longer working in Auburn Hills at Faurecia.

Cons

Just bad upper management. New guys bring in friends and it becomes a club of thugs. If you are not Mexican or something else, you have no chance.
