Compensation is higher than normal for this area

Cons

Lack of business in the US is forcing Faurecia to move most new technology development business to France and China. Also, higher development costs in the US is forcing projects to be moved to Mexico and India. There are business opportunities in the US. Faurecias quoting structure is not competitive and has led to many lost business opportunities, which in turn affect the headcount in the US.

Great benefits, great people and great pay. Exciting work when it is going well

Cons

Often left hanging by upper management. Different groups can make decisions or budgets for you that easily get in the way, or cause issues for you, but then step out and not take any ownership. During launch, you can spend months at a plant 5-7 days a week away from home
