Pros

Before I started contracting through Family First Life, I was just out of college with a burning passion for hairdressing. I was also struggling to pay the bills. It was difficult to find work anywhere because I have never worked a professional job before. I also never wanted to subjectify myself to a 9 to 5 lifestyle but when I had to begin paying back my student loans, I needed more work because my hairdressing payout wasn't enough. Family First Life is a judgement free atomosphere, striving to help their agents succeed. I NEVER thought I would enjoy doing what I do now, but honestly, as much as I love hairdressing, Family First Life has turned a new leaf for me, and I am now working to become a full-time insurance agent.

Cons

Not as much a con, but some advice for those who might be new to the industry, you have to be confident in yourself when being a sales agent. People will see right through you if you're not. Family First Life has extensive amounts of training and people to help answer questions. Use your resources.

Pros

I needed to be able to make extra money when I became a single Mom. I love working with Family First Life. I can work at little or as much as I want on my terms. I tend to work the weekends my kids are with my ex. I don't get to attend the calls and the trainings but they are recorded and I can listen to them on my commute which is great because the trainings allow me to get better at my job. I especially like working with people and the clients in their homes. I am never pushed to do more or work or full time (I have to keep the health insurance for my day job) I am always treated with respect by everyone in my regional office and in the corporate office.

Cons

I really can't find a con. This is the best part time job I have ever had.

Pros

Not sure why I didn't start my career here. I really have found my footing as an agent in the time I have been with Family First Life. I prefer to be an independent agent and have control of my schedule and to only report to myself. I am a person who loves people but hate bosses which has made Family First Life for me. A career for a certain kind of person but success can be had if you work hard. It's never given always earned.

Cons

Keep up the good work! This is a GREAT organization!
