Pros

My husband lost his job and is battling cancer so it's been so hard to keep up on his appointments and work. A friend recommended I check out FFL. I was a legal secretary, and I hated it so I thought I would give FFL a try part-time. There were a ton of pluses from the get-go. FFL helped me through the licensing I didn't have to sign a contract, and all training is free. Even though the training is free it is quality training. I decided to leave my hated day job, and I have been working with FFL part time only. I get to help my husband through cancer treatment, and I make a better living than I did before!

Cons

Make sure you have your own benefits lined up because this is a job where you get a 1099.

Pros

The company President is tough but caring, and that is the culture at Family First Life. You work for yourself (part-time or full-time), which is incredible! Commission pay rate is the best in the industry, and there are many opportunities. No contract required so you can leave and move to another job at any time. If you are not motivated, you will struggle, but I would recommend this career to anyone who is good at sales.

Cons

At times motivation is hard but if you work as hard as you can you will make it.

Hated my 9 to 5

Pros

I hated my 9 to 5, but I didn't have a good idea for my own business. I also wasn't sure I wanted to be ""on my own."" While job hunting and daydreaming at work I came across an ad for Family First Life. From the first phone call, I was determined that this was something I wanted to make happen. It took time, and I had to learn to be out of my comfort zone, but I am making a fantastic living. I am so happy with FFL.

Cons

Save for taxes or deal with the IRS. You have been warned.
