Had to do something

Pros

My husband fell ill with cancer and passed. His illness drained most of our retirement. We hadn't invested wisely, and of course we did not have life insurance. I did not want anyone to go through what I did so I decided to become an agent. I worked in sales before but not as an insurance agent. I chose Family First Life because of the opportunity. The training is outtanding, and I really like the diverse culture of the company. I know all the objections I had to getting insurance and now I can share my story to make sure other families are protected.

Cons

I am making enough to save for my retirement but sure wish I was not working fulltime although in a few years I won't have to but that is not Family First Life's fault.

Pros

My brother joined FFL a few years before I did. He was changing his life in such a major way but I had it good at my job. I lost my job and I decided heck my brother is happy and doing so well. I joined him at FFL and we are doing GREAT. I have my kids in private school and we want for nothing. It's hard work but we work for ourselves!

Cons

I work hard but I am ok with it.

Pros

I worked with my hands for many years but it felt like the bill collector was always nipping at my heels. I had a friend who did really well in insurance and I got up the guts to look into it because I want to have a GREAT retirement with my wife someday. I researched and read and read. Decided to get an agent from every company to come and try to sell me. I was most impressed with Family First Life. The agent was not desperate and truly seemed to want to help us. I knew the company I wanted to join and I am glad I did.

Cons

I work a lot but it's worth it. Chargebacks and taxes MUST be planned for.
