      Pros

      Payment processing/financial services experience. Ebanking and Check Services are great training grounds for a banking/financial services career.

      Cons

      RIFFs are at random and only a way to divert resources to other depts. The Credit Card division is poorly managed and has experienced excessive turn over in the last 3 years.

      Pros

      - Biggest pro is the people. They are awesome. And in the office I was in they tried really hard to make it a fun and interactive type environment. We would always have events like contests on who made the best mini-golf course. Tons of fun! - The people that I worked with were highly competent. - Flexible work hours and willingness to allow you to be an adult and assure that you get your work done.

      Cons

      - No room for growth - Increase in pay is minimal

      FIS is a decent company to work for but you'd think employee compensation would be higher being #1 in its industry.

      Pros

      FIS has so many different areas of business that you can work, learn, and grow. The people for the most part are great people to work with. The company is number #1 in its industry and still growing. The ESPP Sock Purchase plan and match are great for the employee.

      Cons

      FIS has a minimal raise percentage once you're hired. You may see 2 to 3 percent increase on average. Non-management positions receive minimal pay increase during promotion period. Senior Management in some areas believe good talent is easily replaceable and would rather lose a star employee to another company than match the competing company's offer.
