Pros

Plenty of good friends in the company.

Cons

Very low wages, low to no raises, no bonuses or quality compensation. As oil and food go up (which are outside the CPI) they need to learn how to help us and pay a little more to offset our cost, not just make decisions to increase managements bank accounts.

Pros

-Training for this position was fairly thorough, being that it was 2 weeks -Benefits are good, about the same as you would get in most large companies, nothing special -Most of the team leads and supervisors are good because they were in the same positions that you are in when you start, so they know the issues you may be having -Parking in downtown Milwaukee so you don't have to pay for parking in the city Casual Fridays

Cons

-Training is ever changing, so what you learned now may be different for the next class somewhat, so each person may handle callers differently -Lack of consistency in how to handle certain problems callers are having, differing answers often from one supervisor or team lead to the next -Starting pay kinda blows, $12.50 per hour -You cannot move to another position in the department or any other department until you've worked in the current position for a year, and that does not include contractor time if that is how you start in this position -The pay raise sucks, less than 2% raise after working here over a year -The turnover ratio is ATROCIOUS...i have literally seen more than 200 people come and go in the year I have been here, and the company does not seem to see this as an issue -The stress you have often is not worth the amount of money you are paid -Management stresses communication as a key factor in the business, and then it falls by the wayside soon after -Management expects great customer service and efficiency in your work, but does not reciprocate the service they have to keeping their employees happy and working to keep them employed at FIS. -You have no leeway time when arriving to work...you cannot clock in even a minute early, and if you are even a second late over your start time, you have a tardy -Tardy/Occurrence/Absentee system is a joke I can go on with a few more lines, but I think my point is well made.
