Pros

Decent place to start and learn new things. Beginning at this company I was exposed to new opportunities fairly quickly but those opportunities quickly become very narrow.

Cons

Salary can be low and the company reacts slowly to change. There were often times when a market wide movement was obvious and imminent but Fidelity only reacted after a change.

Pros

Good benefits, challenging work, opportunities to work in many different locations through out the world. Pay increases are minimum.

Cons

Not enough staff, hard to move to a new career, poor in mentoring opportunities. Too often positions are filled prior to being posted. Consequently, your time is wasted in applying. Recruiters do not interview, yet make recommendations to hiring managers, on who should be interviewed.

Pros

Started as a contractor, got hired on full time within a year. Great benefits and growing company to work for. More about the benefits, you get what many companies are offering but what sticks out is the ESPP.

Cons

I feel that sometimes management can do more to learn about the jobs they are supervising. Would also like pay increases to be frequent but I'm sure everyone feels that way.
