They only care about the higher ups

Pros

The only pro I can say is that it’s better than being unemployed. My coworkers are great and make the workdays bearable.

Cons

We’re basically making minimum wage with a ton of responsibilities. Company consistently sends emails to brag about profits but raises are almost non existent. We’re recently told the company would not help “fund” our yearly Christmas party. I say fund lightly because they usually give us a barebones budget to order pizza or some other low quality food that we have to quickly eat on break. However the higher ups in the company are still getting their yearly bonus. Pretty crappy that the already rich people in the company get more money while the lower level associates who make the company successful can’t even get a free meal for the holidays. It is really a horrible company that does not care about the people who make the company run.

Pros

The company offers excellent work-life balance, with flexible hours and the ability to work from home. No micromanagement, allowing for a great deal of autonomy in your role. The job itself is fulfilling, and there's room for growth and development. I was impressed by the generous severance plan, which is one of the best I've seen. I was even in the process of negotiating better benefits when I left, and the company was very open to discussions and improvements. Was able to get additional months of COBRA and a higher severance payment.

Cons

While the work culture is generally positive, there could be more collaboration across departments. Sometimes it feels like teams operate a bit too independently, which can create gaps in communication. In some instances, there’s a lack of clarity around career progression, which might be an area to improve for future employees.
