Pros

Flexibility is the best part of working here. Great people to work at the non-manager position.

Cons

You will not be trained, and HQ cannot help you because they don't know substantive legal issues. You are left to fend on your own and be expected to be an expert on issues above you pay grade. They don't care about your pay or retention once your are in the door. HQ sees you as just someone in the field. There is a lack of SME on legal issues.

Pros

It is a comfortable position, no perceived risk during economic struggles, dependent on administration. Just do not expect anything to be done quickly, in a position that is dealing with contracts and has heavy gatekeeping by coworkers' fragile egos, so nothing gets don't in a timely manner, can be frustrating. But good work-life balance which is a good trade off.

Cons

Slow Progression on Projects due to Gatekeeping and Contractual Norms. Being a Union position, this also limits the efficiency of the position.
