Job security, extremely fun job, great salary, great union, and great benefits.

Cons

Training is long and stressful, hours are hard at times, you work all holidays, the job itself is stressful, rule changes from law makers who know nothing of what you do.

Money, benefits, frequent breaks, organized agency, you can become a supervisor if you are a horrible controller

Cons

Work life balance sucks, you'll never get weekends off unless you have 20 plus years experience, you have to chose leave a year in advance and its based on seniority, it's a macho based high school like environment,, limited career advancement opportunities
