Pros

Some things are better, but the horrible song remains the same. The Air Force is 1000 times better than the Department of Transportation.

Cons

Computer systems are slanted to make your life a living hell, such as Castle were you can't do a simple edit and you can't request leave except from your work computer.

Pros

Great pay, benefits, travel, retirement, and not expected to work overly hard.

Cons

Upper management makes knee jerk decisions and seem to be mostly in the dark about how the process really works from the bottom up. Union is more concerned with getting more for doing less than they are about quality work. Frontline managers get hit from above and below with no support from either.
