Pros

Alot of variety in the type of work that has to be done. Other inspectors always willing to help guide you in areas that you may not be strong in. Flexible work schedule. Good upward mobility if you're willing to move around the agency.

Cons

Initial training could be great or it could be terrible depending on your location.

Shift work or rotating schedule. You have to bid your PTO nearly a year in advanced.
