Pros

Great people, great work life balance, lots of leave, decent pay

Cons

It can get boring and the projects get repetitive. Easy to get sucked into the "I'm Content" culture which can be a good thing if thats what you are looking for

Pros

Great colleagues. Quality of life is amazing. You can start at 6 in the morning and be done at 2:30 in the afternoon if you want

Cons

Hard to get ahead. Management tends to promote their friends and those in Headquarters. Field attorneys get the shift. Chief counsel is a political appointment and the current one is awful

Pros

The FAA has a god management to work for, with a meaningful mission.

Cons

Bureaucracy of working in the government makes things hard. Very little technical engineering work available.
