Pros

They have a lot of assets all over the world but little knowledge about how to operate them.

Cons

I worked at Exxon for less than a year before quitting. The company was frustrating to work at due to how inefficiently they operate. Projects tools 2-3x the amount of time they should have. They offer very little incentive to excel at your job so everyone kind of just coasts by. I thought Exxon being a major operator would mean they’re at the top of the game but they actually turned out to have archaic infrastructure and practices. Get the name on your resume and then bail.
