      Good salary with high expectation

      Pros

      The salary is above average in the same industry. Training and guidelines is provided, support system is good.

      Cons

      There are annual review cycle that is very competitive, the low performer will get PIP or separation scheme. Do not expect work life balance in XOM as the schedule is very demanding, we need to work day (9am- 5pm) in the KL office and night (8pm - 12am) to support America/Canada region from home. Basically we will be working at least 10-12 hours a day but there are no OT obviously. The medical benefit also can be better especially for the dependants.

      Pros

      - Flexible hours (depend who is your boss and which team) - Good colleagues and I&D culture - Good stepping stone for fresh grads

      Cons

      - Your job is too niche compared to the market that prefer broader skills. - Ranking system has so much favouritism, country-biases and nonsense. If you contributed 200% and ticked all KPI but somehow got one bad review or one person annoyed with you, bye-bye. - Different timezone and too much bureaucracy slowed down the progress. - Sometimes you had to work till late night and public holiday while your boss goes vacation - Good agile depends on how good your Scrum Master and Product Owner. A bad one will demotivate the whole team.

      Benifits, and pay is okay, but you can move to any company with having exxon in your belt

      Cons

      They work you like a dog, make sure you gotta put in them hours
