Pros

Competitive compensation package Trainings are offered in order to develop new skills Travel to different locations Well organized in most of the cases

Cons

People are promoted based on their ability to accept the company values rather then skills leading to hidden tensions - the worst kind of people who are willing to discipline or to report on others are promoted at the first place.

A myopic management style.

Pros

In general, senior technical colleagues are very competent. Benefits are good. Funding for research projects are generally available and not too difficult to get if management sees values.

Cons

Military like management and ranking style kills innovation and collaboration between colleagues. Not a place to conduct fundamental research. Very short time thinking. IT support is horrible at best.
