Pros

* Above market pay for entry-level positions * Lots of career paths, if you are a high performer * For entry-level engineers, this is a good place to pick up technical competencies as lots of opportunities

Cons

* Rampant with red tapes; people here follow work practices like the Bible * Development opportunities can be rather limited if you do not manage to catch eyes of the managers * Sometimes the nature of the job doesn't feel very technical; more time is spent on coordination * Poor outlook of the company in this tumultuous market * Prepare to work very long hours given the lean manpower situation

Pros

Good Compensations - They pay very well, though many of the benefits such as 401k matches are gone.

Cons

Toxic Culture - not progressive at all. No diversity.
