It used to be a nice place to work

Pros

The benefits were good and the salary was decent. Some telecommuting was allowed and some flexibility in work hours. My co-workers were great. We worked together and supported and helped each other.

Cons

Management only sees us as numbers on a report. They say they need to cut back so they lay off the people doing the work, and bring in more people at the director and above level. They lay off the people who have the business knowledge and hire contractors or send the work to another country because it's cheaper. They've lost a lot of good people.

Pros

good professional people, interesting products, pretty good revenue stream. benefits package is above average and pay rates are inline with the market

Cons

new management took over about a year ago. it's a downhill ride since then. there is absolutely no respect to employee's opinions or personal life. everyone suddenly became an easily replaceable number.

Pros

This is a place that has a friendly environment and co-workers are generally pretty fun to be around. CheetahMail is a company that is in a good position within it's industry, has a strong focus on customer service, and is a good place to gain marketing experience for recent college grads. Experian, the parent company provides plenty of vacation time, which is a big plus.

Cons

One of the downsides of having been acquired by Experian is that the company has lost and is slowly losing the start-up/young company feel it once had as it further integrates with Experian's procedures and polices.
