Pros

Tons of talent everywhere, particularly in data science and IT. Lots of space to move around. Fair compensation and benefits. Can move mountains with tremendous global resources.

Cons

No one can describe a unified vision or mission in less than about ten sentences. Growth is all about acquisitions, not logical extensions of current business. "Matrix" management is remarkably confusing - accountability can be hard to find. Typical big-company bureaucracy weakens product cooperation and HR.

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits, hard-working colleagues, and location right at the heart of the financial district. Free bagels on Wednesdays.

Cons

Constant layoffs, off shoring, executives resigning and realignment/restructuring causes a lot of instability within the organization. Company is struggling to meet revenue targets and company will pull strings to cut corners and meet EBIT numbers. Low work life balance as a result of instability and struggling to compete in the marketplace. Client service will likely suffer due to off-shoring. Very buggy technology, lots of "gap fixes"

Pros

Really nice colleagues Lots of socials and free coke! Can be an easy sell due to experian being so well established in the market and also diversifying itself to remain relevant

Cons

Bad management - no development, just bullying implicit bullying tactics Blind following of 'the business' - no consistent strategy High staff turnover due to emphasis on perception rather than sales - if you don't think how the business needs you to then you're out Treated like children
