Thank you for taking time to write a review. I'd have loved to respond more specifically to your feedback but I'm limited given no location info etc. I am sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your Experian journey, particularly as this differs from what I read, see and hear from others. "Great culture and work environment" features in 177 of our Glassdoor reviews and globally we have a 4.4 Star Glassdoor rating for Culture, something we're very proud of. Please feel free to reach out to me directly (in the strictest of confidence), doug.kelsall@experian.com, as I would be interested in understanding your point of view further.

Cons

I have waited for more than a year to see any good project getting done here.have been spending my time only on standard scoring models and techniques which change only a little in case there is a customer requesting for something specific.most of the work is only managing and maintaining existing data models.once in a while the team gets involved in brainstorming a imaginary product that can be shown at a global level to pom pom about the India analytics capability.a concept is cooked up with fancy english and jargons to wow everyone and show at some conference even though no one knows how that can be done.My team was involved in one such proect called AgriX than won a competition but nothing has nmoved ahead on that as no one knows how to achieve what has been showcased to everyone. The team won a similar big award for a product 2 years back called OneExperian which is still to be built.People are still struggling to figure out what and how it needs to be done teo years after winning the award. This is the state of affairs in the team. People want to look good than being able to do good work.So we continue to spin stories and build castles in the air with no real future here. There is no technical competence in the team to be able to think or deliver real cutting edge products. We have to rely on the technology team for their support but again their is internal politics on how and when and if we should approach them. Our leaders dont seem to agree on the approach to solve any practical problems as a team.We only get to hear fancy words and jargons from their head and endless lectures on platforms and standards till the cows come home but never a practical solution. This leaves most of us in the team frustrated and regretful of having joined Experian in the hope that we woud get cutting edge knowledge here.At least thats what was potrayed to me in my interview that I would be joining one of the most innovative companies in the the field of analytics.Nothing has been dissapointing for me and my career so far.The lockdown has given me an oppurtunity to think and share with everyone on how many of us in the team feel and how many of us young in our careers may not have the courage to speak up against a couple of things that we makes us all feel so let down.
