Cons

Highly structured and a matured setting, but I guess pros and cons. I still like the company a lot.

Pros

Good benefits, extremely growth oriented, some positions pay well. Like every other workplace, there are good people and bad people.

Cons

It’s hard to get anything accomplished here. Upper management can never get along long enough to work together, and that makes even daily tasks a hassle. Lots of people are overworked, so be sure to set boundaries. Evonik is a great place to gain experience and work your way up, but there is high turnover at the Birmingham site for a reason.

Cons

Complicated business structure. Current low market demand for products due to the ongoing conflicts with Russia and Ukraine, made even worse bu the developing conflict with Israel and Hamas.
