Pros

I was pleased to get a call from a recruiter at Apex regarding a position with a global company. I interviewed with Apex and the company, and accepted a job offer, all within a week.

Cons

There are a few which come to mind right away, which gives me a 'less than impressive' impression of the company: * Time Entry: Pay is distributed weekly, and you go to their web site to submit. I am often on-call and at those times, enter my week's time closer to the deadline. I was less than 15 minutes late on the entry and the system locked me out. I sent an email to my recruiter and was told that it will delay my paycheck a week. This is splitting hairs, and they have the ability to process time entry after the deadline! * I have met my account manager twice... once for the interview and once for my start date. Other than that I only occasionally hear from a recruiter, and that is almost always to see if I know of any 'leads'. * This company is strictly 'time paid for time worked', and offers no vacation, bench time etc. It would be nice to have some kind of benefit in place around this. I think it all comes down to them trying to squeeze in every penny they can, and then giving those nice bonuses to the upper management.
