Pros

There was always a lot of work to do, that needed to be done in a timely manner in order to get things set up for the operation of the cafeteria, which included the cleaning and sanitation of the place.from dishes, pans, pots, shelves, tables, racks and floors.

Cons

The pressure and stress of the job to get things done on time for the operation of the unit.. Not giving a written statement of the basic things that they wanted done on a daily basis, until my last two years at the company.

Pros

Most weekends off, no late nights, good benefits, discount program, decent pay, good group of associates that we hired, extra training available

Cons

Seemed to get lost in the sea of people, very numbers driven, food just below avg, upper management not considerate of your personal time, not a good onboarding process (here's the keys, now hit your numbers)

Overworked managers herding unqualified cats.

Pros

They have high standards written into the literature, and managers expect quality. Associates are encouraged to "own" their stations, to be personally invested in the food they serve. Online training is also available. Managers are easy to get a hold of.

Cons

High standards and quality ONLY exist in their literature. The food is institutional, unhealthy, and often handled improperly. Associates consist of those who will work for as little as possible, so for the most part, they are uneducated, untrained and unmotivated. Managers have no real time left to them for actually managing due to the ever-pressing corporate structure that demands more fudged paperwork then good food.
