Pros

Autonomy, on the job training, self clarifying environment, chances to develop different skill sets.

Cons

Lack of support. Chronic and persistent high levels of stress. Unrealistic demands based on unclear/unreachable goals. Too many Chiefs. Lack of useful training. Gross misrepresentations of actual work-life balance. Conference calls with limited pertinent content. High turnover in upper management leading to lack of clear direction. Obfuscation and silos. Accountability for results without necessary decision making authority. Too much top-down management. Lack of organizational checks and balances on company politics.

Pros

Work with great people. The team members are overall really wonderful. Like family. Working with food is always a plus. You never leave work hungry and creativity is praised. Sometimes the job is even fun.

Cons

Over worked and under paid. 12-13 hour work days, 5 + days per week. Expected to work weekends sometimes, no overtime pay as a salary manager. High expectations with little to no reward system. Maintaining guidelines for hourly employees is very difficult, limited support from upper management. Everyone is spread so thin, it's impossible not to get burnt out too quickly.
