Pros

Great hours as most of the work is contract foodservice M - F 6-3pm. Good benefits if you're willing to pay for them.

Cons

Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. Not enough associates to do the job that is expected. Too many promotions in addition to doing regular assignments. Some upper management are clueless as to how certain promos will or won't work in certain establishments.

Pros

Can pay a weekly fee to eat whatever you want on shift? I guess Customers are great usually

Cons

Job listing and management after hire will promise a certain amount of hours and never deliver. You will always have less hours than promised or scheduled while being expected to have open availability. I started this job with no credit card debt and over the course of a year I had to max out multiple credit cards just to pay all my bills and fell behind on rent even with doing that. No accountability for poor management. For months I wouldn't know if I worked on Monday or the rest of the week until the Sunday before, sometimes not until after 6pm for shifts that start at 5:30am on Monday. Poor communication from management. No notice for being out of work for up to two months at a time (due to building renovations, in this case). After doing all of above and you still sticking it out, they will let you go to start with fresh staff for reopening after building renovations complete with no warning or severance. If you contact HR, don't hold your breath for a response. I only got one for one incident and got the issue addressed in any kind of timely manner because I not only called but also emailed to create a paper trail that they couldn't dispute ignoring.
